Multi‑Skilled Operative

About the role

We are seeking a Multi‑Skilled Operative to join Raven Housing Trust’s Voids team. Working from Redhill, you will travel across the South East to deliver high‑quality repairs, maintenance and refurbishments in void properties, ensuring homes are ready for new tenants.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out repairs, maintenance and full‑property refurbishments, including kitchen fitting.
• Perform a range of multi‑trade tasks such as carpentry, plumbing, painting & decorating and general repairs.
• Undertake larger refurbishment projects independently or as part of a small team.
• Assess properties to determine the most effective repair or replacement solutions.
• Use mobile technology to record job progress and adhere to health & safety regulations.

Required profile

• Recognised qualification in a core trade (Carpentry NVQ/City & Guilds Level 2 or Plumbing NVQ Level 2/City & Guilds Level 3) or equivalent experience.
• Practical experience in both carpentry and plumbing.
• Proven ability to deliver a wide range of repairs and refurbishments to a high standard.
• Adaptable, flexible and able to work across different properties and support wider teams.
