Multi‑Skilled Plasterer – 3‑Month Contract

About the role

Bury Council is seeking an experienced Multi‑Skilled Plasterer to join their team for a three‑month contract. The role involves delivering high‑quality plastering and related trades work across occupied council properties while maintaining safety and customer service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out plastering tasks such as patch repairs, skimming and finishing.
• Perform additional multi‑trade duties, including tiling and general repairs.
• Work safely in occupied properties, adhering to health and safety policies.
• Use tablets or iPads to order materials and complete work orders.
• Diagnose tenant‑reported repairs and communicate findings to planners.
• Maintain and operate issued plant and equipment safely.
• Manage waste and recycling in line with council procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience in plastering and multi‑skill construction work.
• Good customer service attitude.
• Own tools and transport preferred.
• Valid CSCS card.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Commitment to safe work practices and ability to follow risk assessments.

What we offer

• Pay rate £23‑£25 per hour (PAYE)
