Multi‑Skilled Production Operative – 4‑Day Week, Fridays Off

About the role

We are seeking a versatile Production Operative to join a leading family‑run agricultural machinery manufacturer at its state‑of‑the‑art site in Truro. You will rotate across several departments, gaining hands‑on experience in machining, assembly, logistics and press‑brake operations while enjoying a four‑day work week with Fridays off.

Key responsibilities

• Operate equipment in machining, press‑brake, assembly and logistics areas as required.
• Support the end‑to‑end manufacturing process, from initial part preparation to final product assembly.
• Assist with material handling, stock movement and forklift operations where trained.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and report any issues promptly.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a production or manufacturing setting.
• Ability to work across multiple departments and adapt to changing tasks.
• Willingness to learn new processes and follow in‑house training.
• Reliable attendance for a Monday‑to‑Thursday schedule.
• Residence within a reasonable commuting distance to Truro.

• FLT (forklift) operation (training preferred).
