Multi‑Skilled Technician – Joinery & Repairs

About the role

This position is for a Multi‑Skilled Technician working for a recognised housing association in the South West. You will primarily deliver high‑quality joinery work while also carrying out a range of multi‑trade repairs to achieve first‑time fixes.

Key responsibilities

• Perform joinery tasks to a high standard as the core trade.
• Carry out additional multi‑trade repairs across properties.
• Maintain health and safety standards on every job.
• Provide excellent customer service and keep accurate service records.
• Maintain vehicle, tools and stock to required standards.
• Participate in an on‑call, out‑of‑hours rota (paid £525 per on‑call week).

Required profile

• NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds (or equivalent) qualification.
• Full UK driver’s licence.
• Strong joinery skills combined with multi‑trade ability.
• Experience in a customer‑focused, target‑driven environment.
• Ability to work independently, manage workload and solve problems.
• Good health & safety awareness; social housing experience is desirable.
• Access to personal power tools.
