Multi‑Trader (Carpentry & Maintenance) – £38k

About the role

The Hyde Group is seeking an experienced Multi‑Trader to join its busy maintenance team in South East England. You will work in residential properties, delivering a range of repairs and upkeep tasks while providing a courteous, professional service to tenants.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out multi‑trade repairs including carpentry, plumbing, plastering and general maintenance.
• Fix everyday issues such as doors, kitchens, bathrooms, leaks, walls and flooring.
• Complete patch plastering, minor tiling, painting and other finishing works.
• Work independently on assigned jobs and collaborate with other trades when required.
• Follow work orders, report progress and material usage, and adhere to health‑and‑safety procedures.

Required profile

• Solid experience across several trades, especially carpentry and plumbing.
• Confidence using hand and power tools.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage workload.
• Strong problem‑solving attitude and good communication with customers.
• Physically fit for hands‑on work; full UK driver’s licence preferred.
