Music Teacher – KS3/KS4 (Temp to Perm)

About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Music Teacher to deliver KS3 and KS4 music lessons in a thriving mixed‑sex secondary school in South East London. The role starts in September 2026 and is open to both newly qualified teachers and experienced professionals.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging music lessons for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the music department’s curriculum development and extracurricular activities.
- Participate in parent evenings and school events as required.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive and respectful learning environment.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- PGCE, SCITT, Teach First or similar teaching qualification.
- Ability to teach music up to KS4 level.
- Positive, committed and versatile attitude.
