Music Teacher – Short-Term Sickness Cover (Sept–Nov 2026)

About the role

A vibrant secondary school in South East London is seeking a qualified Music Teacher to provide short‑term sickness cover from September to November 2026. The position is full‑time and fixed‑term, offering the chance to work in a creative, inclusive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Teach Music across Key Stages 3 and 4, delivering engaging and inspiring lessons.
• Encourage practical music‑making, performance opportunities and student participation.
• Contribute positively to a collaborative department and support colleagues.
• Maintain high standards of achievement, behaviour and student engagement.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a teaching qualification recognised by UK NARIC.
• Experience teaching Music in a secondary school setting.
• Ability to inspire students of diverse abilities and backgrounds.
• Strong classroom management and subject knowledge.
• Availability to start in September 2026.
