National Sales Manager – Low Voltage Circuit Protection

About the role

The National Sales Manager will lead a small, specialist field‑sales team delivering low‑voltage circuit protection solutions across the UK. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will shape the sales strategy, recruit new talent and drive growth within electrical wholesale and contractor networks.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop a team of two electrical wholesale field‑sales professionals.
• Recruit two specification‑focused field salespeople immediately.
• Create and execute marketing and sales strategies for a portfolio that includes consumer units, main switches, RCBOs, MCBs, RCDs, surge protection devices, industrial plugs & sockets, and rotary isolator switches.
• Build and maintain relationships with electrical contractors, wholesalers, buying groups and specifiers.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand national coverage.
• Assist in product pricing, regional coverage planning and promotional activities.

Required profile

• Established network of contacts within independent electrical wholesalers.
• Senior‑level experience, preferably former regional sales manager.
• 10+ years in sales and marketing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Experience in the low‑voltage circuit protection market is essential.
• Strategic management capability and collaborative leadership style.

• Base salary £70,000 per annum
