.NET Developer – C#, WPF, Azure SQL

About the role

We are looking for a .NET Developer to join a leading investment manager’s technology team, working on greenfield enterprise‑level applications for asset management. The role is based in Manchester with the option to work remotely and offers the chance to collaborate with top Microsoft engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain .NET/C# applications using WPF and Azure SQL.
• Apply MVVM, Prism and test‑driven development practices.
• Participate in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) delivery cycles and continuous integration pipelines.
• Implement dependency injection and work with MongoDB where required.
• Contribute to code reviews and architectural discussions with a view to progressing to an Architect role.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of .NET, C# and WPF.
• Experience with Azure SQL and modern .NET development (10.0, C# 14).
• Based in the UK with the right to work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a remote‑friendly team.
