Network Device Telemetry & Analysis Engineer

About the role

The Network Device Telemetry & Analysis Engineer will onboard, process and analyse telemetry data from network infrastructure. Working closely with Network Operations, Automation and Monitoring teams, you will turn raw device data into actionable insights for troubleshooting and performance monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, normalise and ingest telemetry, metrics, logs and events from routing, switching, wireless and SD‑WAN devices into Splunk.
• Design, build and maintain Splunk dashboards, searches and visualisations for Operations teams.
• Develop alerting strategies to detect network degradation, anomalies and availability risks.
• Collaborate with Network Engineering to understand device health indicators and performance signals.
• Support incident triage, root‑cause analysis and data‑driven decision making.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with network telemetry and monitoring platforms.
• Ability to work closely with Network Operations, Automation and Monitoring teams.
• Strong analytical mindset for translating data into operational insights.

Required skills

• Splunk (data ingestion, dashboard creation, alerting).
• Network telemetry collection and normalisation.
• Knowledge of routing, switching, wireless and SD‑WAN technologies.
• Dashboard and visualisation development.
• Alerting and anomaly detection design.
