Network Executive

About the role

The Network Executive will design, document and maintain the company’s LAN/WAN infrastructure across all sites, ensuring reliable connectivity, security and performance. You will be responsible for firewall configuration, switching, wireless, datacenter operations and supporting network incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Design, maintain and update network diagrams, IP addressing schemes and VLAN structures for all sites.
• Configure, maintain and troubleshoot firewalls, NAT, VPN tunnels and WAF policies.
• Manage managed switches with VLAN segmentation, trunking, port security and link aggregation.
• Deploy, monitor and optimize wireless access points (UniFi or equivalent) for coverage and performance.
• Oversee datacenter operations, rack organization, cabling standards, power and cooling.
• Resolve network support tickets within SLA and provide advanced troubleshooting.
• Deploy critical network device patches and conduct periodic access reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Networking or related field.
• 2–4 years of hands‑on network engineering experience, with depth in firewall administration, switching and wireless.
• Experience creating professional network diagrams using Visio, Draw.io or similar tools.
• Practical experience with server‑room management, structured cabling and power redundancy.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Fortinet NSE are strongly preferred.

Required skills

• Fortinet and Sophos firewalls (UTM platforms).
• Managed switches and enterprise Wi‑Fi access points (UniFi or equivalent).
• VLAN segmentation, STP, OSPF, static routing and link aggregation.
• VPN configuration and site‑to‑site/remote‑access tunnels.
• Network monitoring tools and regular firmware/patch updates.
• Structured/physical cabling standards and rack‑level asset management.
• Network diagramming tools (Visio, Draw.io).
• Certifications: CCNA, CCNP, Fortinet NSE.
