Neuro Physiotherapist – Expert Witness (Self‑Employed)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced adult neuro‑physiotherapist to join our expert witness panel on a self‑employed basis. You will apply your specialist clinical knowledge to complex medico‑legal cases, supporting solicitors and insurers in the resolution of injury claims. The role offers the chance to influence legal outcomes while maintaining your clinical expertise, with full flexibility over workload and schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with claimant and defendant solicitors on clinical negligence or personal injury matters.
• Conduct detailed assessments of pre‑injury condition, current functional impact and future physiotherapy requirements to determine quantum.
• Prepare clear, objective medico‑legal reports that meet legal standards.
• Provide expert testimony in court or tribunals when required.
• Maintain regular communication with the Bush & Co support team and contribute insights to the expert community.

Required profile

• Qualified and registered adult neuro‑physiotherapist with several years of clinical experience.
• Proven expertise in neuro‑rehabilitation and complex case assessment.
• Strong written communication skills and ability to produce concise legal reports.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently while meeting deadlines.
• Based in London or the surrounding area and willing to travel as needed.
