New Business Account Executive

About the role

We are seeking an experienced New Business Account Executive to join the Real Estate team of a global insurance brokerage in Manchester. The role focuses on generating new business within the commercial property sector, allowing you to build and manage your own portfolio of real‑estate clients.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and target commercial property owners, landlords, managing agents and investors to develop a new client portfolio.
• Source prospects, generate opportunities and convert leads into long‑term insurance relationships.
• Deliver consultative, risk‑based insurance solutions tailored to each client’s property portfolio.
• Collaborate with internal teams that provide warm leads, inbound enquiries and marketing support.
• Maintain ownership of client engagement from initial contact through policy renewal.

Required profile

• Proven track record of winning new business in commercial insurance, preferably with real‑estate exposure.
• Strong understanding of property risk and insurance solutions.
• Confident client‑facing style with the ability to build rapport quickly.
• Self‑motivated, commercially minded and able to work independently.

• Base salary £80,000‑£110,000 per year, dependent on experience.
