New Business Executive

About the role

This position is aimed at experienced commercial insurance producers who want greater autonomy, a clear path to higher earnings and the ability to shape their own market. Based in the North West, you will join an independent broker that values relationship‑driven selling and commercial common sense.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, approach and convert new commercial insurance opportunities across the North West region.
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of SME, mid‑market and larger corporate prospects.
• Develop long‑term relationships with business owners, finance directors and senior decision‑makers.
• Present insurance programmes in a clear, commercial manner and work with internal broking teams to deliver tailored solutions.
• Manage pipeline discipline, forecast revenue and pursue cross‑sell opportunities.
• Represent the firm positively within the local market and wider insurance community.

Required profile

• Proven track record in commercial insurance business development or senior sales roles.
• Strong network or ability to create a pipeline in the North West.
• Confidence presenting to senior clients and closing high‑value deals.
• Self‑motivated, market‑focused and comfortable working independently.
