New Business Sales Executive

About the role

We are looking for a driven New Business Sales Executive to join our fast‑growing e‑commerce packaging company. In this pure hunter role you will focus on generating fresh revenue by prospecting, cold‑calling, meeting and closing new brand and agency accounts for our paper bags, cartons and other packaging solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and prospect new B2B clients across brands and agencies through research, cold calling and networking.
• Book and conduct discovery meetings (initially by phone, later face‑to‑face) to understand packaging needs.
• Present tailored packaging solutions and negotiate contracts to secure new accounts.
• Hand over won accounts to an administrative specialist, ensuring a smooth transition for quoting and order processing.
• Maintain accurate CRM records of all prospecting activity, pipeline and outcomes.
• Meet or exceed monthly activity targets (calls, meetings) and revenue targets set by the line manager.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a pure new‑business or hunter sales role, preferably B2B.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Resilient, self‑motivated and comfortable with high‑volume cold calling.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
