New Car Sales Manager – Oxford

About the role

We are looking for an ambitious New Car Sales Manager to lead a high‑performing dealership sales team in Oxford. This role offers the chance to drive new‑vehicle sales, maximise profitability and deliver outstanding customer experiences in a dynamic retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a team of Sales Executives.
• Drive new‑vehicle sales, finance penetration and ancillary product sales.
• Monitor daily, weekly and monthly sales activity against targets.
• Manage customer enquiries and ensure effective lead handling.
• Coach the team through first‑ and second‑facing customer interactions.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and brand standards.
• Oversee vehicle stock levels, showroom presentation and availability.
• Produce accurate sales forecasts, reports and performance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with FCA regulations and dealership processes.
• Collaborate with senior management to meet profitability objectives.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Sales Manager, Business Manager or Transaction Manager in a franchised dealership.
• Proven track record of delivering strong sales results and profitability.
• Strong leadership, coaching and people‑management abilities.
• Excellent negotiation and customer‑relationship skills.
• Commercial awareness with the ability to analyse performance data.
• High organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Full UK driving licence.
