New Homes Manager

About the role

Connells Group is seeking an experienced estate agency professional to lead its New Homes business across Darlington and surrounding areas. The role combines strategic commercial focus with hands‑on relationship building to grow partnerships with developers, housebuilders and the branch network.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with developers, housebuilders and key stakeholders.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities and new‑homes instructions.
• Provide market insight, pricing advice and recommendations to support developer success.
• Collaborate with the branch network to maximise sales opportunities and performance.
• Build a robust pipeline of future opportunities across the region.
• Support marketing and sales strategies to deliver successful outcomes for clients.
• Monitor performance, analyse results and drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience in residential estate agency, preferably in listings, valuations, branch management or business development.
• Track record of winning new business and delivering results.
• Strong relationship‑building and communication abilities.
• Commercial awareness with the ability to identify opportunities and influence outcomes.
• Confidence working with customers, developers and internal stakeholders.
• Proactive, self‑motivated and able to work autonomously.
• Full UK driving licence.
