About the role
We are seeking a newly qualified solicitor to join our growing employment team in Birmingham. This permanent, full‑time position offers the chance to work on a diverse range of employment matters for both employers and employees.
Key responsibilities
- Provide advice on disciplinary and grievance issues, unfair dismissal claims and discrimination matters.
- Draft and negotiate settlement agreements, employment contracts and workplace policies.
- Manage a mixed caseload of contentious and non‑contentious matters.
- Support business development initiatives and maintain strong client relationships.
Required profile
- Newly qualified solicitor with training experience in employment law.
- Strong technical knowledge of employment legislation.
- Excellent communication and client‑care abilities.
- Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to development.
