Newly Qualified HGV Driver – Nights

About the role

Join AO.com as a Newly Qualified Class 1 HGV Driver on night shifts, delivering appliances and electronics to our network of depots across the UK. You will work alongside experienced drivers, gaining confidence and expertise while ensuring parcels arrive in perfect condition.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a Class 1 HGV on 8‑hour night shifts, following a 5‑on‑2‑off rota.
• Transport goods safely to one of AO’s 17 depots, adhering to delivery schedules.
• Maintain accurate tachograph records and comply with all road safety regulations.
• Collaborate with the transport team to resolve any issues on the road.

Required profile

• Current, valid CPC and DIGI TACHO certification.
• No more than six penalty points (no IN, DR or DD codes).
• Strong command of English.
• Good knowledge of the UK road network and reliable time‑keeping.
