About the role
Specsavers in Chepstow is seeking a newly qualified, GOC‑registered Optometrist to join a community‑focused store. You will deliver high‑quality eye care, ensure an excellent patient experience and contribute to the growth of a loyal customer base.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and provide accurate prescriptions.
- Utilise clinical technology such as OCT to support diagnosis.
- Offer professional advice and exceptional customer service to all patients.
- Participate in CPD activities and support the store’s clinical development initiatives.
Required profile
- Newly qualified Optometrist registered with the General Optical Council.
- Passionate about delivering outstanding eye care and patient experience.
- Willing to work within a team‑oriented, community‑focused environment.
Required skills
- Proficiency with OCT imaging equipment.

- Salary up to £50,000 per year, dependent on experience and qualifications.
