About the role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a newly qualified personal injury solicitor to join a respected legal practice in Birmingham. The role offers hybrid working, mentorship from experienced colleagues and a clear pathway for professional growth within a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support on a diverse caseload of multi‑track personal injury matters, assisting senior lawyers and gradually taking ownership of your own files.
• Progress intermediate non‑issued cases independently, with the opportunity to handle issued matters as experience grows.
• Collaborate with experienced colleagues to follow the full lifecycle of complex personal injury claims, from instruction to settlement.
• Provide empathetic and professional client care throughout the litigation process.
• Maintain accurate case records, monitor deadlines and ensure procedural compliance using case management systems.
• Draft correspondence, prepare court documents and liaise with external experts as required.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor (NQ) with a keen interest in personal injury law.
• Strong analytical and research abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced team.
• Commitment to client‑focused service and continuous professional development.
