Newly Qualified Personal Injury Solicitor – RTA Litigation

About the role
HFPeople is seeking a newly qualified solicitor to join its Road Traffic Accident (RTA) litigation team. The role offers a blend of hands‑on legal work and early leadership experience, with hybrid working (one day per week in the office) across Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds or Birmingham.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a small caseload of litigated RTA liability matters from instruction through to resolution.
- Support team leadership by fostering a positive, productive environment and identifying continuous‑improvement opportunities.
- Supervise litigation executives, ensuring high‑quality technical performance and adherence to supervision procedures.
- Provide training and mentorship to legal apprentices and junior team members.
- Assist in meeting operational performance metrics, including revenue targets and timely billing.
- Maintain service standards for allocated clients, overseeing response times, escalation processes and SLA compliance.
- Participate in quality‑control activities such as case sampling and audits.
- Engage professionally with clients, insurers and third parties to build strong relationships.
Required profile
- Newly qualified solicitor with a keen interest in personal injury and RTA litigation.
- Enthusiastic, positive attitude and readiness to take ownership of a small caseload.
- Ability to supervise and mentor junior colleagues.
- Willingness to work hybrid, attending the office one day per week.
