About the role

We are an established regional law firm seeking a newly qualified solicitor to join our growing Private Client team in Knutsford. This full‑time position offers a supportive environment where you will work alongside experienced solicitors while building your own caseload. The role will involve direct client interaction and the preparation of legal documents.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of private client matters under appropriate supervision.
• Advise clients on wills, probate, lasting powers of attorney and estate administration.
• Deliver accurate, practical legal advice while maintaining high technical standards.
• Collaborate with colleagues on more complex matters as required.

Required profile

• Newly qualified solicitor (or about to qualify) with experience in private client work gained during a training contract or paralegal role.
• Strong communication and client‑care skills.
• Organised, proactive and eager to develop professionally.
• Genuine interest in building a long‑term career in private client law.

Required skills

• Knowledge of wills, probate, lasting powers of attorney and estate administration.
