Night Auditor – Hotel Front Desk

About the role

The Night Auditor is the first point of contact for guests arriving during the night shift at Ibis Birmingham Airport. You will ensure a warm welcome, handle check‑ins and check‑outs, and maintain a safe, smooth environment throughout the overnight hours.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and register guests arriving after regular reception hours.
• Perform nightly audit procedures, reconcile cash and credit transactions, and generate reports for the morning shift.
• Monitor security systems and respond to any incidents to guarantee guest safety.
• Address guest inquiries, resolve minor issues, and provide information about hotel services.
• Maintain accurate records and update the property management system.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Night Auditor or in a comparable front‑desk role.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating with the day team.
• Strong attention to detail and a customer‑focused attitude.

Required skills

• Good IT proficiency (experience with hotel management software is a plus).
