Night Auditor

About the role

Join the night team at Ibis Cambridge Central Station and be the first point of contact for guests arriving late or departing early. You will ensure smooth hotel operations throughout the night, handling both front‑desk duties and financial reconciliation.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome late arrivals and bid farewell to early departures with a friendly attitude.
• Perform the nightly audit, preparing and distributing reports to internal departments.
• Manage reservation details and accounts for in‑house guests, ensuring accuracy.
• Support other departments in preparing for the next day’s operations.
• Provide food and beverage service during the night shift.
• Maintain safety and security of guests and assist with emergency procedures.
• Clean and maintain public areas such as the lobby, bar and staff zones.
• Reconcile daily revenue postings and promote sales opportunities.

Required profile

• Ability to work independently on night shifts (10:45 PM – 7:00 AM) and weekends.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial procedures.
• Guest‑focused attitude with a passion for hospitality.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a Property Management System, specifically OPERA Cloud.
• Competency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
