Night Care Assistant – Flexible Night Shifts

About the role

We are seeking compassionate Night Care Assistants to provide high‑quality overnight support to individuals across Cornwall. You will work flexible night shifts, helping service users feel safe, comfortable and cared for during the hours when they need it most.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personal care such as washing, dressing and toileting as required.
• Assist with medication administration in line with care plans.
• Support mobility and ensure comfort throughout the night.
• Respond promptly to call bells and any overnight needs.
• Maintain accurate care records and handover notes.
• Offer reassurance, companionship and emotional support.

Required profile

• Compassionate, patient and reliable nature.
• Ability to work independently and exercise good judgement during night hours.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check (arranged by us).
