Night Care Assistant

About the role

As a Night Care Assistant at Okeley Care Home you will join a compassionate team providing physical, emotional and social support to residents throughout the night shift. You will work from 8 pm to 8 am, delivering high‑quality care to older adults with diverse needs including dementia, physical disabilities and mental health conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist residents with mealtimes and personal care during night hours.
• Complete daily documentation, including records, charts and care plans.
• Engage residents in meaningful activities and promote independence, choice, dignity and respect.

Required profile

• Experience in a care setting (care home, home care or caring for a loved one) is desirable.
• A caring, kind approach and a genuine desire to work with older people.

What we offer

• Hourly rate of £13.45‑£13.85 depending on experience.
• 36‑hour week on a rotating schedule, Monday‑Sunday, 8 pm‑8 am.
