Night Customer Service Advisor (4 on 4 off)

About the role

We are recruiting a Night Customer Service Advisor for a small, friendly contact centre in Rawtenstall. The role involves answering inbound calls from customers who need immediate, often urgent, assistance, including life‑threatening situations.

Key responsibilities

• Answer calls promptly, ideally within three rings.
• Assess urgency using a structured script and provide calm, clear guidance.
• Handle sensitive calls from elderly or vulnerable individuals.
• Use the client’s Technology Enabled Care (TEC) system to identify issues.
• Tailor communication style to each caller’s needs.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support service delivery.
• Accurately record details and actions taken during and after each call.

Required profile

• Compassionate and reliable with a calm, empathetic telephone manner.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Resilient under pressure and able to manage time independently.
• Willingness to undergo a standard DBS check.

Required skills

• Basic computer literacy.
• Accurate data entry.
