Night HGV Class 1 Driver – Depot to Depot

About the role

We are seeking professional HGV Class 1 drivers to join our night trunking operation. The role focuses on depot‑to‑depot movements of ambient, chilled and frozen products, offering predictable routes and modern vehicles with full transport‑team support.

Key responsibilities

• Perform night trunking between regional depots and hubs, typically starting between 18:00 and 23:00.
• Conduct vehicle checks, report defects and ensure vehicles are road‑worthy.
• Complete transport paperwork accurately and on time.
• Handle occasional delivery tasks when operationally required.
• Maintain safe and efficient movement of goods, adhering to all relevant regulations.

Required profile

• Valid UK HGV Class 1 licence.
• Willingness and ability to work night shifts, Monday‑Friday.
• Experience in handling ambient, chilled and frozen cargo.
• Good health and fitness to perform vehicle inspections and loading duties.
