Night HGV Class 1 Driver – £17.71/hr

About the role

This full‑time night position involves delivering and collecting full pallet loads across the South West, working Monday night to Friday night (into Saturday morning). You will operate curtain‑sided vehicles, follow regular routes and ensure goods reach customers safely and on time.

Key responsibilities

• Perform night‑time deliveries and collections using Class 1 (C+E) vehicles.
• Operate tail lifts, pallet trucks and forklifts for loading and unloading.
• Complete vehicle checks, theory assessments and reversing tests before each shift.
• Maintain compliance with UK road‑safety regulations and company policies.
• Keep the vehicle clean and presentable throughout the contract.

Required profile

• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) licence.
• Valid CPC card and Digital Tachograph card.
• Age 21 or over and no more than 9 penalty points.
• Professional, customer‑focused attitude.
• Willingness to complete company induction and assessments.
