Night HGV Class 1 Driver – Severn Beach

About the role

We are seeking experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) night drivers to join a reputable operation in Severn Beach. The role offers a consistent trunking schedule with a 5‑on/3‑off shift pattern, starting between 17:00‑21:00 or 21:00‑00:00.

Key responsibilities

• Operate curtain‑sided trailers on night shifts, transporting palletised loads.
• Secure loads with appropriate strapping to ensure safety during transit.
• Adhere to UK driving laws, company safety policies, and compliance standards.
• Maintain vehicle condition and complete required paperwork.
• Deliver reliable service without handballing between shifts.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of HGV Class 1 (C+E) driving experience.
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tacho Card.
• Proven experience with curtain‑sided trailers and pallet load handling.
• Strong knowledge of UK driving regulations.
• Professional, reliable and safety‑focused attitude.
