Night HGV Class 2 Driver – £18.61/hr

About the role

We are seeking experienced HGV Class 2 drivers to join a fast‑moving logistics team in Weybridge on a night shift schedule. The role involves transporting palletised parcels between couriers and collection points, with a focus on safety and accuracy. The position starts on a rota of five nights per week, Sunday to Friday.

Key responsibilities

• Work set night shifts (typically 23:59 start, occasional 03:00 start on Sundays)
• Securely move and transport palletised parcels to couriers or collect them from delivery units
• Complete runs with 1‑2 stops, maintaining accurate paperwork
• Load and unload the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck as required
• Interact with customers professionally and represent the company

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence with Class 2 (Category C) entitlement
• Valid DCPC and digital tachograph card
• No more than 6 penalty points on licence
• Good understanding of Working Time Directive legislation
• Willingness to undertake a short driving assessment
• Strong communication and safety‑first mindset

Required skills

• Operation of a tail lift and pump truck
• Use of a digital tachograph
