Night Manager – Retail Store (Full‑time)

About the role

As a Night Manager you will lead the store’s night team, ensuring the shop floor remains safe, well‑stocked and ready for customers while the store operates 24 hours. You will work a rolling rota of four nights per week, including weekends, and be the sole point of responsibility for the store during the night shift.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute all trading activity on the shop floor during the night shift, managing deliveries, waste, returns and replenishment.
• Lead, coach and develop night colleagues and team leaders to maintain high shop‑floor standards.
• Ensure the store is presentable and fully stocked for the day team, including promotions, foyer displays and hot‑spot areas.
• Drive a culture of customer focus, resilience and ownership, embodying the "Asdaness" in daily operations.

Required profile

• Experience supervising or managing teams in a retail grocery environment, preferably overnight.
• Ability to make independent decisions with a hands‑on attitude and a drive to improve processes.
• Confidence in developing teams, managing change and delivering strong customer service.
• Flexibility to work a range of night shifts, including weekends.
