Night Operations – Airfreight & Perishables (Heathrow)

About the role
This full‑time night position supports the Perishables team at Heathrow, handling airfreight and freight forwarding tasks from 8 pm to 8 am. You will work closely with customers, carriers and internal teams to ensure smooth operations and high service standards.
Key responsibilities
- Understand the role of the Perishables team and the wider business.
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with customers and deliver high levels of satisfaction.
- Participate in team meetings and ensure actions are completed on time.
- Prepare customs entries and invoicing where applicable.
- Process Air Waybill (AWB) documentation and make bookings with carriers.
- Arrange collection and delivery with customers.
- Enter data into operational systems and manage warehouse and third‑party supplier interactions.
Required profile
- Confident communication with customers and colleagues.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proactive attitude toward improving processes and initiatives.
- Interest in systems, IT or AI is a plus.
Required skills
- Computer literacy.
