Night Porter

About the role

As a Night Porter you will deliver friendly and efficient customer service while creating a secure, warm and welcoming environment for owners and residents of the village.

Key responsibilities

• Provide front‑of‑house service and ensure a safe atmosphere throughout the night.
• Assist with administrative and operational tasks across the village, including occasional care support.
• Perform pool cleaning, complete pool test logs and prepare the swimming pool and club for daily use.
• Maintain cleanliness of all public and communal areas and manage refuse collection.
• Respond effectively to emergencies and work under pressure when required.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills with good literacy and numeracy in English.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively.
• Positive, tolerant attitude and flexible approach to shift patterns.
• Comfortable using a computer (advantageous) and able to work under pressure.
• Warm, professional and empathetic demeanor.
