Night Receptionist

About the role

Ibis London Wembley, a modern 210-room hotel with a bar-restaurant in central Wembley, is looking for a positive night team member to support the reception team and create memorable guest experiences. The post is full time, permanent, five days a week, with an expected start date of mid-November 2026 and pay of £15.30 per hour. Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK and hold a current work visa.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome late arrivals and bid farewell to early departures warmly and professionally
• Carry out the night audit
• Prepare and distribute reports to internal departments
• Confirm reservation details and accounts for in-house guests
• Support hotel operations and help other departments prepare for the next day
• Provide food and beverage service during the night shift
• Keep guests safe and secure, and follow fire safety procedures and assist in emergencies
• Respond quickly to guest requests and resolve issues
• Clean and maintain public areas such as the entrance, lobby, bar and staff areas
• Reconcile hotel outlets daily and complete daily revenue postings
• Assist in promoting sales and maximise sales opportunities

Required profile

• Eligible to live and work in the UK with a current work visa
• Flexible, positive attitude and strong verbal communication skills
• An eye for detail and a creative problem-solver
• Team player passionate about excellent service; experience in a similar role is beneficial but not essential
