Night Shift Die Cutter Machine Operator – Redhill

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Cut & Crease Minder / Die Cutter Machine Operator to join a well‑established packaging manufacturer in Redhill, Surrey. The role works the night shift (21:00‑06:00, Monday‑Thursday) and focuses on operating BOBST die‑cutting equipment to produce high‑quality packaging.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, operate and maintain BOBST die‑cutting machinery according to production specifications.
• Monitor machine performance, make adjustments and ensure accuracy, quality and efficiency.
• Perform die cutting, creasing, embossing and debossing on paper, folding boxboard and corrugated substrates.
• Load and unload materials with precise alignment.
• Carry out routine maintenance and keep equipment clean to minimise downtime.
• Troubleshoot issues and escalate technical concerns when needed.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet schedules and deadlines.
• Conduct quality inspections and adhere to health & safety procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience operating die‑cutting and creasing machinery, preferably BOBST.
• Strong technical understanding of die‑cutting, creasing, embossing and debossing processes.
• Experience with folding cartons and corrugated packaging.
• Attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced production environment.
