Night Shift Electrician – Rail Telecoms (London)

About the role

We are seeking experienced electricians to work night shifts on a large rail telecoms project in London. The role involves installing and testing cabling infrastructure across various Underground stations, with shifts running from 00:30 to 04:30, Sunday‑Thursday.

Key responsibilities

• Install cable management systems (CMS), including trunking, trays and conduit.
• Terminate and test CAT6A and fibre optic cables.
• Perform daily safety checks and adhere to project‑specific protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed during each shift.

Required profile

• Valid ECS JIB Electrician Card or equivalent grading card.
• Current ICI, DBS security clearance, Manual Handling and Asbestos Awareness certifications.
• Willingness to undergo a pre‑sponsorship drugs and alcohol test.
• Ability to work clean‑shaven or wear an Airshield Pro mask for the project duration.

Required skills
