Night Shift Machine Operative / Manufacturing Technician

About the role

We are looking for a Night Shift Machine Operative / Manufacturing Technician to join our world‑class medical device facility in Witney. You will work the 4‑on, 4‑off night shift (7 pm‑7 am) operating sophisticated automated equipment that produces life‑saving devices.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, operate and monitor advanced automated machinery, ensuring optimal performance and line clearances.
• Use specialised systems such as MacPac and POMS to record batch data and maintain inventory accuracy.
• Provide first‑line troubleshooting, diagnosing minor faults and escalating complex issues to Engineering.
• Maintain a clean, organised workspace following 6S principles and comply with quality, safety and environmental standards.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to “do it right the first time”.
• Comfortable working with digital software and data entry interfaces.
• Proactive problem‑solver who works well in a fast‑paced team.

Required skills

• Operation of automated manufacturing equipment.
• Use of MacPac and POMS software for batch and inventory tracking.
• Digital data entry and record‑keeping.
• Application of 6S lean methodology.
