Night Shift Machine Operator – Rochester

About the role

Join a well‑run manufacturing business on the night shift as a Machine Operator. You will run your own area, keep production moving and take ownership of any issues that arise.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, run and take ownership of production machinery.
• Manage changeovers, adjustments and perform basic fault finding.
• Maintain smooth line operation with minimal supervision.
• Complete production and quality paperwork accurately.
• Support fellow operators and uphold standards throughout the shift.
• Collaborate with Team Leaders to meet output and quality targets.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Familiarity with machinery setups or line responsibility.
• Reliable, independent worker who takes ownership of tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes.
• Team‑player who contributes positively on shift.
