Night Support Worker

About the role

Prime Life is seeking compassionate individuals to join the team at Lowfield House Residential Home as Night Support Workers. You will provide dignified, person‑centred care to residents with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and mental health conditions during the night shift.

Key responsibilities

• Encourage residents to achieve the highest possible quality of life.
• Provide companionship, emotional and practical support throughout the night.
• Assist residents with personal care, recreational activities and decisions about daily living.
• Help residents settle for the night and ensure a comfortable sleep environment.
• Promote independence in food preparation and mealtime routines.
• Collaborate with other professionals to develop and follow individualised care plans.

Required profile

• Genuine caring nature with patience, understanding and respect for each resident’s abilities.
• Desire to make a real difference in the lives of people with disabilities.
• Prior experience as a support worker or care assistant is desirable but not essential – full training is provided.
