Night Support Worker – Women’s Homeless Service

About the role
We are seeking compassionate Night Support Workers to provide person‑centred care for women residing in a homeless service in North West London. This temporary, full‑time night shift role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on vulnerable individuals while developing your expertise in supported housing and social care.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver person‑centred support to service users throughout night shifts.
- Assist clients in developing independent living skills and maintaining tenancies.
- Complete support plans, risk assessments, incident reports and case notes.
- Safeguard vulnerable adults and promote their wellbeing.
- Manage challenging behaviour and respond to emergencies or incidents.
- Liaise with external agencies and maintain accurate records in line with organisational policies.
Required profile
- Previous experience in supported housing, homelessness, mental health, substance misuse or social care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (preferred) or willingness to obtain one.
Required skills
- Enhanced DBS (Update Service) – preferred.
