Night Team Leader

About the role

Join Costa Coffee in Edinburgh as a Night Team Leader, overseeing the store during the overnight shift. You will ensure smooth operations, maintain high service standards, and support a small team of baristas while delivering the brand’s signature coffee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a 24‑hour shift, ensuring efficient store operations.
• Train, mentor and support new baristas on coffee preparation and service standards.
• Motivate the team, fostering a positive and energetic atmosphere.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety and quality standards throughout the night.
• Handle cash, stock and resource management with accuracy.
• Adapt quickly to any issues, keeping the store running smoothly.

Required profile

• Reliable role model with accountability and maturity.
• Strong communicator and team player.
• Energetic, positive and confident when leading others.
• Calm under pressure and able to adapt to changing situations.
• Previous experience in a team‑lead role or willingness to step into one.
• At least 18 years old, due to night‑working requirements.
