Night Warehouse Operative – Dartford

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Night Warehouse Operative to support our client’s operations in Dartford. This temporary, full‑time position involves handling freight during the night shift, ensuring smooth flow through the transit terminals.

Key responsibilities

• Move freight efficiently within transit terminals.
• Load and unload freight using appropriate manual handling equipment.
• Report any damage promptly and accurately following established procedures.
• Follow health and safety protocols and safe systems of work.
• Use IT equipment such as scanners and computers daily.
• Complete all required documentation accurately.
• Meet scheduled loading and unloading deadlines.

Required profile

• Valid Forklift Licence (Reach truck licence is desirable).
• Previous experience operating a forklift.
• Background in logistics or transport.
• Strong communication skills.
• Willingness to work the night shift, Monday to Friday, 9:30 pm – 6:00 am with a 30‑minute unpaid lunch.
