Night Warehouse Shift Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Night Warehouse Shift Manager to lead our Bristol night‑shift operations. You will be responsible for overseeing the safe, efficient sortation of goods and ensuring that service levels are met throughout the overnight period.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the warehouse operation during the night shift, ensuring accurate sortation and compliance with company policies.
• Monitor and control shift costs while driving performance against Service Level Agreements and KPI targets.
• Motivate and supervise the shift team, handling performance, conduct, absence, engagement, training and development.
• Identify and act on areas for improvement, reporting KPI trends and implementing corrective actions.
• Prepare and deliver a comprehensive shift summary and hand‑over record, highlighting any exceptions.

Required profile

• Previous experience in the logistics or distribution sector.
• Proven experience managing a warehouse team, preferably on a night shift.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Friendly, hard‑working attitude with a focus on teamwork and customer service.
