Nightshift Production Manager – Food Manufacturing

About the role

The client is a well‑established Scottish FMCG company seeking a Nightshift Production Manager for their North Lanarkshire site. The role runs Sunday to Thursday, 10 pm‑6 am, and offers the chance to develop managerial expertise within a fast‑moving food manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high‑performing production team on the night shift.
• Plan and manage production schedules to meet customer demand and business targets.
• Monitor and improve production KPIs such as efficiency, waste, downtime and output.
• Drive continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Manage labour, materials and production resources effectively.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Technical teams to maintain product standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production line issues to minimise downtime.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience as a Production, Manufacturing or Operations Manager.
• Background in food manufacturing or FMCG environment.
• Proven experience managing teams in a high‑volume production setting.
