Nighttime Freezer Stock Selector

About the role

As a Nighttime Freezer Stock Selector you will work the 10 pm‑4 am window in Aldi’s Darlington warehouse, picking stock for specific stores and loading it onto pallets for drivers. You’ll receive the advertised night rate plus an additional 8.5 % premium for any time spent in the freezer.

Key responsibilities

• Pick and sort stock for designated stores during night shifts (18:00‑22:00 start).
• Load selected items onto the correct pallets for driver collection.
• Follow instructions received via headset, ensuring accurate store numbers and paperwork.
• Maintain attention to detail and safety while working in the freezer environment.

Required profile

• Ability to work night hours (10 pm‑4 am) and start shifts between 18:00‑22:00.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow verbal instructions.
• Physical fitness for standing, lifting and moving stock in a cold environment.
