NIHL Claims Handler – Glasgow

About the role

Davies Group is seeking an NIHL Claims Handler to join its growing Casualty team in Glasgow. You will provide proactive, first‑class claims handling for major clients, focusing on Noise‑Induced Hearing Loss (NIHL) liability claims.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with Disclosure teams for Ministry of Defence services.
• Investigate allocated claims and gather all relevant evidence and documentation.
• Determine appropriate actions to resolve each case and prepare detailed reports on legal liability, quantum and tactics.
• Negotiate settlements within agreed authority limits.
• Maintain proactive professional correspondence with all parties.
• Handle cases according to documented procedures and client requirements.
• Review and maintain proper reserves for each claim.
• Participate in continuous learning and company‑facilitated training.

Required profile

• British citizenship (sole or dual) due to national security requirements.
• Ability to manage claims from cradle to grave.
• Understanding of Civil Procedure Rules and the Claims Portal.
• Commitment to outstanding customer service and collaborative teamwork.
• Strong personal caseload management, adaptability and versatility.
