NOC Engineer – Shift Based Remote Role

About the role

This NOC Engineer position is primarily shift‑based with most out‑of‑office hours worked remotely. You will attend the Chandlers Ford office only 1‑3 days a month. The role offers a competitive salary up to £45,000, 26 days holiday, 5% pension and life‑insurance cover of three times salary, plus training across a wide range of technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Implement, monitor and support the company’s IT infrastructure and networking.
• Adhere to IT support and service processes.
• Collaborate closely with project managers and technical support teams.
• Proactively monitor systems to ensure 24x7x365 uptime.
• Support continuous improvement of UK IT infrastructure through upgrades and enhancements.
• Contribute to the development of the NOC dashboard.

Required profile

• Commercial IT support experience.
• Strong willingness to learn new technologies and processes.
• Team‑oriented attitude with a desire to share knowledge.
• Cyber‑security experience on Linux server operating systems.
• SC cleared or eligible for clearance.
• Commercial networking knowledge, including firewall, switch and router configuration.
• Understanding of PKI and key management.
