NOC Operations Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced NOC Operations Manager to lead a small, high‑performing Network Operations Centre. You will be responsible for the smooth delivery of business‑critical services across a multi‑platform environment that includes Windows Server, Linux and VMware ESXi, while supporting customers in finance, manufacturing, retail and other sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of four NOC engineers.
• Oversee the operation and maintenance of Windows Server, Linux and VMware ESXi infrastructures.
• Ensure high‑availability, security and performance of networking services.
• Prioritise workloads, manage incidents and drive continuous improvement.
• Implement automation and scripting to streamline routine tasks.
• Coordinate occasional on‑site visits to company and customer locations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in operations, infrastructure or systems engineering.
• Strong leadership and customer‑focused attitude.
• Own car and a clean driving licence.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced managed‑services environment.
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., VMware VCP, Microsoft) are highly desirable.
